How to use ChatGPT to Get Better Results for your Business

It seems as if there are two schools of thought when it comes to the implementation of AI in our society; those who are excited and welcome it and then those who think it’s the beginning of the end. While those may be extreme, we’d like to think we’re somewhere in between. As a business, there are many ways to implement the use of AI to gain industry insights, streamline operations, generate content, and so much more.

Quick note: Using AI tools like ChatGPT is great, but don’t let them steal your brand voice and make you sound robotic or impersonal. Don’t forget what makes you and your brand unique. Gain ideas while remaining personal and adding your own unique voice and take.

So, how does Choice use AI?

A Few Main Uses:

  1. Industry Insights: Choice is a communications agency and if there is anything to know about the communications industry, it’s that things are ALWAYS CHANGING. Seriously, day-to-day, sometimes even hour-to-hour, things look different. Using a tool like AI allows us to do a quick search and get industry updates in a matter of seconds. Of course, we have our tried and true sources we keep a close eye on, but AI allows us the advantage of a concise overview of changes, rather than digging into articles for hours at a time.

  2. Content Idea Generation: We all know how much work creating idea after idea for content for your Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, Threads, TikTok, etc. is. This is where AI can really be your best friend, no matter the niche you may be in. Whether you need blog post ideas, Instagram carousel inspiration, reel prompts, or anything in between, AI can give you as many ideas as you ask it to for exactly what you need.

When giving your AI tool prompts to get ideas or information, be specific. In doing so, you’re helping the tool give you the best answer for exactly what you’re looking for. For example, should it add hashtags, how many emojis, who are you targeting, etc. See some examples below.

AI Prompts to Try:

  • 10 ideas for relatable Instagram reels. They should appeal to [insert your target audience] and help to promote [insert your product/brand].

  • Write an inspirational Instagram caption about [insert your topic] that will engage the target audience [insert your audience]. Write it in an empathetic tone of voice. Give me 3 different options.

  • Write an insightful LinkedIn post promoting best practices within [insert your topic/industry]. Write it in a professional tone of voice.

  • Explain the benefits of [insert your topic] for [insert your target audience]. Format the answer in the response as a carousel for Instagram.

  • Suggest 10 persuasive calls to action that will get  [insert target audience] to [insert desired outcome.]

We know that AI is new and can be overwhelming when you don’t quite understand it or know how to best use it, but keep trying it out and we promise you will become a fan. Whether we like it or not, it seems as if it’s here to stay so let’s use it to our advantage. Try out these uses and prompts for your next post, and let us know how it goes!
