The Choice UGA Summer Fellowship Program

Choice Media & Communications is a boutique media and communications business dedicated to providing clients in the entertainment, and lifestyle space with quality public relations. Choice helps brands, influencers and authors create a clear communications plan, gain media coverage, and receive guidance they won’t get anywhere else.

Our ideal candidate will have a great deal of initiative, be organized to a fault, have strong writing skills, be a servant-hearted leader, and have polish, grace and kindness when interacting with others. Preference will be given to seniors or recent graduates with a major related to mass communications and at least one prior internship experience.

This paid position will have the opportunity to be remote or in-person and require between 15-20 hours of work per week. Fellows will provide hands-on support for client and company initiatives including research, content creation, and project management.

Choice Media & Communications is pleased to offer a Fellowship position to a senior or recent graduate from The University of Georgia’s College of Journalism & Mass Communication.

Education

A senior or recent graduate from The Grady College of Journalism & Mass Communication

Experience

  • Pursuing/Earned a degree related to mass communication

  • At least one prior internship experience

Compensation:

  • A monthly one-on-one coaching call with Founder & CEO, Heather Adams

  • Access to Book(ed) by Choice - an online Book Publicity 101 course for authors

  • Access to 20+ professional development courses recommended by the Choice Team

  • One ticket to attend The Summit on April 28, 2025 in Nashville, TN.

  • $15/hour

Schedule:

  • 15-20 hours per week

  • Monday to Friday between Choice’s working hours of 8 - 5 CST
